Admissions test preparation
Depending on the programme and your background, an application may require an English test (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo), an aptitude test (SAT, GMAT, GRE) or a programme-specific admissions test. Check the requirements and any possible exemptions before choosing a prep course.

Updated 6 September 2026
Distinguish mandatory minimums, where they exist, from recommended scores or the averages of admitted students. Requirements and exemptions vary by programme, and your score is not always the only selection criterion. Check early which test is accepted, the deadline and how long it takes for results to be sent.
All our prep courses follow the same method: one-to-one classes by video call with a dedicated tutor, a diagnostic practice test before the first class, a personalised plan, timed practice tests, unlimited 24/7 access to our practice platform and unlimited marking between sessions.

Frequently asked questions
Which test should you start with?
Start with the one that drives your timeline. For a Bachelor’s, start preparing for the English test in the summer before, or at the start of, your second-to-last or final year of secondary school; the SAT takes several months and often more than one attempt. For a Master’s, ideally take the GMAT or GRE before the summer preceding your applications.
Are classes online or in person?
Our one-to-one classes take place by video call with a dedicated tutor who has taken the test themselves. Our intensive courses are also held online, in small groups.
Is there a charge for the diagnostic practice test?
No. Every prep course starts with a diagnostic practice test, included in the price and taken before your first class under real exam conditions. It is used to set your target score and your study plan.
Can you prepare for several tests at the same time?
Yes, it’s common: for example, the SAT and TOEFL for the United States, or IELTS and TMUA for the UK. We plan the schedule so that each course reinforces the others instead of competing with them.
