Frequently asked questions

When are the Master in Management deadlines for 2027 entry?

HEC Paris closes its four rounds on 7 October 2026, 26 November 2026, 17 February 2027 and 26 April 2027, at noon Paris time (source: HEC Paris, consulted 5 September 2026). London Business School opens applications for its August 2027 intake in August 2026. ESCP runs rolling rounds from October to June. Applying in the first two rounds leaves time for scholarships. QS placed HEC Paris first in the world for Master in Management in its 2027 edition, published on 16 September 2026; our review of the QS Business Masters Rankings 2027 sets out what that means for an application.

Is the GMAT compulsory for a Master in Management?

At London Business School yes: a GMAT, GMAT Focus or GRE score is required before submission, with a recommended GMAT of 555 or above. HEC Paris asks candidates to upload a GMAT, GMAT Focus, GRE or TAGE MAGE score. ESCP accepts GMAT, GRE, CAT or TAGE-MAGE, valid 5 years (sources: LBS, HEC Paris, ESCP, consulted 5 September 2026).

How much does a Master in Management cost?

Budget 58,900 EUR in total at HEC Paris for the 2027-2029 intake, 52,950 GBP plus a 200 GBP student association fee at London Business School for the 2026 intake, and 21,500 EUR (EU) or 25,200 EUR (non-EU) per year at ESCP for September 2026 entry, plus 2,800 EUR of service fees (sources: HEC Paris, LBS, ESCP, consulted 5 September 2026).

What English level do MiM programmes require?

HEC Paris requires proof of English proficiency (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge) unless the candidate is a native speaker or completed a degree taught in English. London Business School applies the same exemption logic. We prepare IELTS and TOEFL in 10, 20 or 30-hour packs, so a candidate can reach the score 3 to 4 months before the first round.

How does Your Dream School coach a MiM application?

The coaching starts with a 2-hour positioning assessment, then a selection of up to 12 programmes, the writing of essays and the statement of purpose, guidance for two recommendation letters, and mock interviews such as the 30-minute online interview used by HEC Paris. Since 2018, 32 students have been admitted to ESCP and 8 to HEC Paris at master level (see our master results).
