Admission requirements
- IELTS Academic 6.5 minimum, sub-bands above 6.0. Nursing Bachelor exception: 7.0
- English exemptions possible: 4 years of secondary education in English OR 48 Monash credits already earned in English

- Application directly via Monash or VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre)
Tuition and cost of living
2026 international Bachelor range: AUD 34,000–53,000/year by discipline. Pharmacy and Medicine at the upper end. Melbourne living costs: budget AUD 28,000–35,000/year. If you choose Monash Prato (Italy) for a semester, Italian housing costs replace Melbourne’s — often more affordable.
Application calendar
- Semester 1 — starting March, international deadline 31 October of previous year
- Semester 2 — starting July, international deadline ~May
The 31 October deadline for Semester 1 is earlier than most other Go8 universities — plan IELTS for the prior summer.
